Bella is 3 weeks old today. I LOVE being a Mommy! She is the most beautiful precious girl! Even when she spits up on me! ha,ha. Didn't you know that spit up is the latest accessory! I am breastfeeding for the most part with 2 formula bottles per day. She is a farty girl! The poor thing has had bad gases for the past few days. We are trying to get her adjusted. My milk supply is not very large. I have been pumping and feeding but it just doesn't seem to get better. I may switch her to formula. I am struggling with this decision. I really wanted her to have breast milk for 3-6 months. But I want her to be a happy girl not a hungry girl. She is growing and requiring more milk that I just don't have.
Junior is a hands on Dad! He is So cute with her! He has been changing diapers and feeding her. As well as cooking us dinners every night. I could get used his cooking! I have to admit I am pretty tired by the end of the day but she is SO worth it!
We had a nice visit last week with Aunty Carly. Bella got lots of cuddling in with her Aunty.She notices colors and can follow her toys back and forth. She gained 5 oz at her 2 week checkup and grew 1.25 inches. She is in the top percentile for height!! Ha,ha who would have thought with her short parents! We will see if she continues to be tall. She lost her umbilical cord on the 4th and now has a cute belly button!
My friend Shaunna took photos of her today! We used moms antiques and Great Nanas chair! Check out a few shots below. Shaunna is getting a disk together with the edited photos. We had fun shooting her.

The photo of Bella and Jr made me tear up a bit! I too had the same struggle w/the feeding - but we've talked about that before.. You will make the right decision for her! The photos Shaunna takes are AMAZING! (helps that the model is so gorgeous!) Wonder if she will be available when we are visiting.. Let me know??
