Bella is 1 Month Old!!

My little girl is getting bigger! It is SO true as the saying goes enjoy them while they are small because they grow fast! She is still really tall and her newborn sleepers are all to short on her. But the next size up is to big! So she is in between sizes right now. But I guess she is one month old so it may just be that she is getting older...but I don't want to admit it!
I decided to transition her to formula. The first couple of days were hard on her system but she is all adjusted now. Her poopy diapers are a lot stinkyer! Big difference from the breast milk!! She enjoys looking at her toys and will smile and make little noises at them. It is so cute!! I keep trying to catch it on video...but she stops as soon  as I get the camera. I will post it when catch her playing!
She is still waking up twice through the night. So mommy is pretty tired. I need to nap when she sleeps! But she should start sleeping for longer stretches soon....right??? I hope so! Any other Moms want to comment when their child started sleeping more?
She has a fiesty personality! She lets us know when she wants her bottle and she wants it NOW!! I told Junior thats her Puerto Rican attitude coming out!! ha,ha!

Spit Up is the New Black!!

Bella is 3 weeks old today. I LOVE being a Mommy! She is the most beautiful precious girl! Even when she spits up on me! ha,ha. Didn't you know that spit up is the latest accessory! I am breastfeeding for the most part with 2 formula bottles per day. She is a farty girl! The poor thing has had bad gases for the past few days. We are trying to get her adjusted. My milk supply is not very large. I have been pumping and feeding but it just doesn't seem to get better. I may switch her to formula. I am struggling with this decision. I really wanted her to have breast milk for 3-6 months. But I want her to be a happy girl not a hungry girl. She is growing and requiring more milk that I just don't have.

Junior is a hands on Dad! He is So cute with her! He has been changing diapers and feeding her. As well as cooking us dinners every night. I could get used his cooking! I have to admit I am pretty tired by the end of the day but she is SO worth it!

We had a nice visit last week with Aunty Carly. Bella got lots of cuddling in with her Aunty.She notices colors and can follow her toys back and forth. She gained 5 oz at her 2 week checkup and grew 1.25 inches. She is in the top percentile for height!! Ha,ha who would have thought with her short parents! We will see if she continues to be tall. She lost her umbilical cord on the 4th and now has a cute belly button!
